Description of the Selected Service

Trademark protection is limited to the territory of the country where it is registered.

If your business activities extend beyond the Russian market, it becomes necessary to register your trademark abroad.

There are two ways to register a trademark abroad:

The first is the so-called "Madrid System," which allows you to obtain legal protection for your mark in selected member countries of the Madrid Union (125 countries). Registration is carried out through WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization, Switzerland). The advantage of the Madrid System is that legal protection for a trademark in multiple countries can be obtained by filing a single application.

The second option is to register a trademark directly in a specific country. This type of registration is required when your mark is specifically designed for the market conditions of a particular country, or if you wish to register a mark in a country that is not a member of the Madrid System.

After analyzing your specific situation, the specialists at Patent Bureau "Technoshchit" will propose the optimal strategy for protecting your trademark abroad.
